Kinderhaus Preschool Programs

3 - 6 years in age

All Preschool students must be fully toilet independent prior to enrollment.

Kinderhaus offers two Montessori preschool classrooms for children ages 3-6 who are fully toilet independent.

Children are placed into classrooms based on age and developmental readiness while following the same Montessori philosophy and daily schedule.

Kinderhaus Preschool is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Families are welcome to drop off their child any time between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. The Montessori instructional day begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. and continues until 3:30 p.m.

Students who arrive before 9:00 a.m. or remain after 3:30 p.m. enjoy engaging activities, outdoor play, social interaction, and a smooth transition into and out of the classroom day—all included as part of our preschool program.

Primary Preschool Classroom (Age 3)

The Primary Classroom provides an engaging Montessori environment where children begin building independence, confidence, and foundational academic skills. Students spend their days exploring hands-on Montessori materials, working independently and in small groups, and enjoying significant time outdoors in nature. Daily experiences foster social-emotional growth, problem-solving, self-control, language development, early mathematics, science exploration, and practical life skills.

Secondary Preschool Classroom (Ages 4-6)

The Secondary Classroom builds upon each child's growing independence and curiosity. Students deepen their understanding through longer work cycles, individualized learning goals, early literacy and mathematics, geography, cultural studies, and project-based exploration. Children also spend several hours each day immersed in our natural outdoor environment where imaginative play, collaboration, leadership, and critical thinking flourish.
