About the Environment

Kinderhaus is committed to ensure a safe environment for students and staff. Exterior doors are kept locked at all times and security codes are required for front-door entry. Substitute teachers must comply with all safety regulations.

Kinderhaus has procedures in place in case of a fire, a tornado, a crisis, and a medical emergency. Staff are trained on emergency procedures. Staff and students practice emergency drills according to licensing regulations.

Each classroom is licensed as a safe environment with age-appropriate furniture and materials. Kinderhaus provides safe-sleep equipment for students who nap.

The large fenced-in outdoor play space allows students to run and explore in licensed, safe, and age-appropriate area. The indoor gym space has tumbling mats, soft climbing blocks, and large-motor materials that meet the needs of all our students.
